CAKE DOGS HIPPOS AND NICE PEOPLE!

Hi! I’m Jerome and I write for Jape News! Today I wanna tell you about all the GOOD stuff happening in the world! My mom says sometimes the news is scary, but there's lots of happy stuff too!

First, there’s this man who makes cakes! Not for birthdays, but for people who don’t have houses! He gives them away! That's SO nice! He just gives them cakes! I like cake. Everyone likes cake!

And get this – a dog got a special dinner! He was very sick, and the people at the restaurant made him yummy food even though he was gonna… well, he was gonna go away. My mom said it was a good thing they made him happy. That makes me sad, but happy too, if that makes sense.

There was also a man driving for Uber. Uber is like a taxi, my dad uses it. This driver, he stayed with a lady in the hospital because she was all alone! That's super brave! I would be scared in a hospital all by myself.

And animals! A baby hippo! He didn’t want to get OUT of the pool! He just kept splashing and playing! It’s on the internet and it's SO CUTE! I wish I could play with a hippo, but they’re probably too big for my backyard.

Someone made a new thing for power! It looks like a big balloon but it makes energy! So we can have lights and TV and video games! That's good, right?

There’s also a country with LOTS of trees. Like, almost all of the country is trees! And they’re protecting them so they don't get cut down. That’s good for the animals and for the air we breathe!

My mom told me about jokes too! Dad jokes are funny, but sometimes silly. And there are questions you can ask your friends to get to know them better! That sounds fun.

Even when things are hard, people are being nice to each other. And that’s a really good thing. It makes me feel happy inside! That’s all for now! Bye!
