PEOPLE ARE MAD ON THE COMPUTER!!!

WHOA! Stuff Happened This Week! - By Jerome Skinly

Hi! I'm Jerome and I write for Jape News! This week was… a LOT. Grown-ups were really mad on the computer again. My mom says it's called “social media” and sometimes people say stuff they shouldn’t. Then everyone gets mad!

First, there was this singer, Kanye? He said some things that made lots of people sad and angry. My mom said it wasn't nice and now he doesn't have friends at some stores anymore. That's like if Billy wouldn't trade Pokemon cards with you! Ouch.

Then, someone who makes fizzy drinks had a girl help sell it, and some people got SUPER mad about that too! They stopped buying the fizzy drinks! It's kinda weird, because the fizzy drink still tastes the same, right? My dad says it’s about… feelings. Grown-ups have a lot of feelings.

And get this – someone pretended to be rich online! He showed pictures of fancy planes but he wasn't really on them! That's like… lying about having a rare Charizard! Everyone laughed at him. He got in trouble for not being honest.

There was also this lady who held a… thing that looked like the President. It was scary! So she lost some jobs. My mom said it wasn’t okay to make things that scare people.

And remember Roseanne? She said a mean thing a long time ago and this week people remembered! It’s like if you broke your promise to share your cookies and everyone found out!

It's like everyone is watching everyone all the time now! My mom says you have to be careful what you say and do, even when nobody is looking, because someone might see it on the computer.

It's a lot to keep up with! I think I just want to play with my dinosaurs. They don't say mean things!
