Newgrounds is STILL Cool! (By Jerome Skinly)

Hi! I’m Jerome and I like Newgrounds! My big brother, Leo, showed it to me. It’s got lots of cartoons and games and… stuff. And it has memes!

Memes are like… things everyone copies! Like when everyone does the same silly face. But on the computer!

Leo told me Newgrounds had the FIRST memes! Like, way before TikTok! He said there was this song about a horse, “Get On My Horse!” and a cartoon with lots of people fighting called “The Ultimate Showdown!” I haven’t seen them all yet, but they look kinda cool.

But Newgrounds still has new memes! Leo says it's hard to keep up! He showed me some people are making 3D cartoons, but trying to make them LOOK like 2D! That's kinda tricky! Someone on the internet asked if that was okay a long time ago, like in 2009, and people said it was cool if it looked 2D.

There's also lots of videos and pictures people keep making copies of. It's like everyone is trying to be funny together! Leo says there's a place on the internet called “Reddit” where people talk about Newgrounds stuff.

Newgrounds is still cool because it's been around for a long time, and people keep making new funny things! It's not just for old people, even though it is kinda old. It's for everyone! Even me!
