Grand Rapids Weather Seems… A Little Rainy Today

A Damp Day in Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids is… well, it’s a bit soggy today, folks. I just got back inside, and honestly, a warm cup of tea is sounding really good. The forecast said rain, and boy, did they deliver.

It started overcast this afternoon, pretty mild around 52°F, with a bit of a breeze – not too bad, actually. I was thinking maybe a walk in the park wouldn’t be the worst idea. But then, the sky just opened up.

Now it’s really coming down. They’re predicting thunderstorms, which… yeah, okay. A little intimidating, if I’m honest. The temperature’s dropped to 47°F, and it's pretty humid out there. The wind's picked up too, blowing from the west at about 12 mph. It’s definitely a “stay inside and read a book” kind of day.

Honestly, I saw a couple of people trying to brave it, but I think they regretted it almost immediately. I mean, 93% chance of precipitation is… significant. And with the wind, it’s not just a gentle rain, either.

Hopefully, it will clear up soon, but for now, I think I'll be sticking to reporting from indoors. Stay dry out there, everyone! And maybe have a hot drink. It really does help.
