Looks Like Rain, So Maybe Stay In?

A Bit of a Damp Day in Grand Rapids

Well, folks, it’s…wet out there. That’s probably not a huge surprise, considering it is spring in Michigan, but the National Weather Service is saying we’re in a pretty active pattern right now.

I just stepped inside from downtown, and it was definitely drizzly this morning. Cloudy, you know? The kind of gray that just…is. But they're saying that rain might give way to some scattered thunderstorms this afternoon. I hope everyone remembers their umbrellas!

It’s not terribly cold, thankfully. The forecast is calling for a high of around 59 degrees, which is…pleasant enough, I guess? Though a little breezy. The wind is coming from the east-southeast, and it’s picking up a bit, around 10 to 20 miles per hour. Definitely a hair-ruffling kind of wind.

Honestly, it's just one of those days where it’s probably best to stay inside with a nice cup of tea…or maybe just wait for it to pass. I, uh, plan to do just that. Stay safe out there, everyone, and try not to get too soaked!
