Weather's Just… A Lot Today, Honestly.

A Bit of Everything, Everywhere

It’s… well, it’s a day for checking the forecast, that’s for sure. Seems like the weather is really doing its own thing today. I was just looking at Weather.com – they say they’re the most accurate, which is good to know, honestly. Makes you feel a little better about planning your day, doesn’t it?

They have everything on there, of course. Local forecasts, radar… all sorts of stuff. I checked Grand Rapids, Michigan, just because, and it looks pretty standard there.

But Chicago, wow. Seventy degrees, down to thirty, thunderstorms and wind. One hundred percent chance of precipitation! Twenty mile-per-hour winds! That’s… intense. I feel a little tired just reading about it. Good thing I’m not going to Chicago, honestly. I'd probably just get blown around. And 67% humidity? Yikes.

And then, a little further out, I read something about San Francisco… apparently, it's sinking? Which, you know, that’s… concerning. Not weather, exactly, but still. Makes you think.

Sunrise was at 6:43 this morning, and sunset's at 7:09 tonight, so at least we have that going for us. It’s just… a lot happening all at once. I think I’ll just stay inside and maybe make a nice cup of tea. Seems like the safest bet, really.
