A Bit of a Chill, But Things are…Changing?

By Leo Parks

Grand Rapids is experiencing a bit of a chilly day, to be honest. It’s currently 33 degrees, but with the wind, it feels like 23. Definitely a jacket day, and maybe even a hat and gloves if you’re, you know, me. I always get cold easily.

It’s mostly cloudy right now, and honestly, I’m just hoping it stays that way. I’m not a huge fan of extreme weather, if you get my drift.

But…things are looking pretty interesting for the next few days. Apparently, we're supposed to hit 67 degrees tomorrow with, uh, a 100% chance of rain. That’s…a big swing, isn’t it? From almost freezing to almost warm in a single day.

The forecast is a little all over the place after that, actually. Rain on Saturday, then a really cold Sunday. Then back up again. It’s kind of hard to keep track of. They're saying there's even heavy snow and ice up in the Upper Midwest, which sounds…rough. And down south, severe thunderstorms. Honestly, I'm glad we're just getting rain for the most part.

I saw on the news that the weather’s being pretty unpredictable across the country, so I guess that’s just how it is. I’m just hoping whatever happens, everyone stays safe and dry…or warm, depending on the day! Maybe we should all just stay inside and watch movies? No one would be offended by that, right?
