COLD GRAY DAY + RAIN BOOTS?!

Brrr, It’s Kinda Cold!
Hi! I’m Jerome Skinly and I’m seven! Today the weather is…well, it’s not sunny. It’s gray. Like a elephant! My mom said it’s called “overcast.” That means the sun is hiding.
It's also kinda cold! Not like snow cold, but you still need a jacket. It’s 49 degrees, which is…a number. My mom says that’s like when you turn seven! Almost warm, but not quite. The wind is blowing pretty hard too, from the…northwest? That’s a direction. It makes my flag flap really fast!
The wind makes it feel even colder, like 44! That’s like being six and a half.
Tonight, Mommy said there might be rain. Just a little bit, before bedtime. She said maybe 30 out of 100 chances. I hope it rains so I can wear my new rain boots!
Tomorrow will be…more gray. And maybe more rain after we’re all asleep. It will still be almost seven-year-old degrees!
So yeah. It's kinda cold and gray today. I’m gonna go build a fort inside. It’s warmer in a fort!
