WORLD IS BUSY!

Hi! I’m Jerome and I’m seven. My teacher said I could be a reporter! So here’s what’s going on in the world. It’s… a lot.

First, there was fighting, but now it’s stopping a little bit. It was in a place called Israel and Gaza. People were getting hurt, and it was sad. But now, they’re letting some people go home, and that’s good! Mr. Trump helped make it stop, my mom said. She said he might get a prize for it! A really, really big prize! Like, a Nobel Peace Prize! That’s a hard one to say.

But it’s not just that. There was BIG rain in Mexico. Like, so much rain it made the ground slide! And people got hurt there too. That's why you have to be careful when it rains!

And then, in the Philippines, the ground shook! They thought a giant wave might come, so people had to go to higher places. That sounds scary.

Ukraine is still having a hard time. People are hitting their power stuff, and it's making it dark and cold. My mom says that’s not very nice.

In France, someone got their job back! The prime minister! That means he’s still in charge.

And someone in Venezuela got a prize too! A lady named Maria Corina Machado. She’s helping people there. It's good to help people!

So yeah. Lots is happening. It’s kind of scary, but also sometimes good things happen too. My mom says it’s important to know what’s going on in the world, even if it's a little bit sad. I think she’s right.
