SO MANY DAYS HAPPENING NOW!

Lotsa Stuff Happening This Week! By Jerome Skinly

Hi! I’m Jerome and I’m seven! This week is REALLY busy with holidays and stuff. My mom helped me write this so it's good.

Today is March 31st, and it’s a special day for lots of people! Some people are being seen, like, REALLY seen! It’s called International Transgender Day of Visibility. That means people are celebrating who they are! Cool!

Also, in some places like California and Colorado, it's César Chávez Day. He helped farmworkers, which are people who grow our food. We should thank them! Arizona calls it Farmworkers Day too!

Tomorrow is April 1st! That’s April Fool's Day! You can play tricks on people, but not mean ones! And some people start Passover, which is a Jewish holiday. It lasts a long time!

Then on April 2nd, lots of things happen again! Maundy Thursday is for Christians, and Passover keeps going. And it's World Autism Awareness Day! That’s when people try to understand each other better. Florida has a special day called Pascua Florida Day too! So many days!

April 3rd is Good Friday and it's a day off in a bunch of states! Like Texas and Hawaii! My aunt lives in Texas!

April 4th is Holy Saturday, and the United Nations has a day to remind people about… mines. Like, the stuff that goes BOOM. Be careful!

And then… Easter is on April 5th! That's when the Easter Bunny comes! And it's also International Day of Conscience. That means being nice!
