The Sky is Gray and Soon Maybe Stormy!
Hi! My name is Jerome and I’m seven! Today in Grand Rapids it’s kinda gray. Not super dark, but not sunny either. It’s fifty-one degrees, which is… warmish? My mom says.
The wind is blowing a little bit from the back of the house, kinda swishy. Not a big blow, just a little one. It's only going three miles an hour! That's not very fast, I can run faster than that!
Tomorrow it’s gonna be warmer! Like, sixty-eight degrees! That’s almost as warm as my bath! But… then the next day, Tuesday, it might storm. A big one! The weather man on TV said it could be a severe thunderstorm! That means lots of loud booms and maybe rain. Eighty percent chance of rain! That’s like, almost all the rain!
They also said it’s the birthday of the big ice storm last year. Remember that one? Everything was shiny and slippery and school was closed!
Tuesday sounds kinda scary, but also kinda cool. I hope we get to watch the storm from the window! And maybe play board games! But I hope it doesn't get too stormy. My mom says we have to be safe.
