Brrr! It's Cold in Chicago!
Hi! I’m Jerome Skinly and I’m seven! Today it’s super cold in Chicago. My mom said it's 29 degrees! That’s REALLY cold. It's also windy! The wind is blowing from the… um… North-Northeast? That's a big direction. It’s blowing really fast, like 25 to 35 miles every HOUR! That's faster than my bike!
It’s all gray and cloudy too. No sunshine today. My mom checked the weather on the computer and said it's 78%… humidity? I don’t know what that means, but it sounds kinda soggy.
The moon is coming out today though! It’s gonna be up at twelve oh nine. That's lunchtime! Maybe the moon will make it a little brighter, even if it's still cold.
The people at the weather place checked the map this morning. They said it’s still cold. So you should wear a coat and a hat and mittens if you go outside! I’m gonna stay inside and build a fort! It’s too chilly for building forts outside today.
