A Damp Day in Heartside – Ape News with H.R. Rambe
Grand Rapids, MI – 2026-04-05 – Greetings, fellow primates! H.R. Rambe here, bringing you the latest scoop from Ape News.
If you’ve ventured out into Heartside this morning, you’ve likely felt a bit of dampness. The sky is currently draped in clouds, and we’re experiencing a few scattered showers. Not a downpour, mind you, but enough to warrant a quick thought about bringing a protective leafy covering… or perhaps one of those colorful human ‘umbrellas’ they seem so fond of.
The temperature is hovering near 60 degrees Fahrenheit, with a gentle breeze coming from the southeast at about 10 to 20 miles per hour. It's… tolerable. Certainly not prime banana-peeling weather, but not unpleasant either.
However, a word of caution for those planning eastward excursions. Ape News has received word from the National Weather Service that more significant showers and even thunderstorms are expected in those areas. And, unfortunately, it seems cooler temperatures are set to return Sunday and stretch into the beginning of next week.
So, my advice? Enjoy this relatively mild day while it lasts. Perhaps gather some extra berries, groom your fur, and prepare for a potentially chillier stretch ahead.
That’s all for now from Ape News. Stay dry, stay warm, and stay informed!
