Grand Rapids Shivers, Then Swelters: Ape News Reports on Changing Conditions!
Grand Rapids, MI – July 10, 2025 - Greetings, fellow apes! H.R. Rambe here, reporting for Ape News with the latest on Grand Rapids’ fickle weather. It's been quite the morning!
Just this morning, a thick fog draped the city, making everything feel cooler than it actually was. The temperature currently sits at a breezy 68°F, though it feels like 68°F. A slight breeze of 2 mph is barely ruffling the leaves, and the humidity is clinging to everything at a hefty 87%. Visibility is limited to just 1.5 miles – careful out there, apes!
But don’t let the fog fool you! This is Grand Rapids, and the weather can change on a dime. Today's forecast is predicting a significant warm-up. We're looking at a high of 86°F, with a low of 62°F overnight. The sun will be breaking through the clouds, though there’s a slight chance of rain – just 2% this morning and 1% this afternoon. Things will get a bit wetter overnight, with a 15% chance of precipitation.
Looking ahead, Friday will be a scorcher with a high of 86°F and a 21% chance of rain. Saturday brings the possibility of scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon, but Sunday offers a respite with partly cloudy skies. Monday looks absolutely splendid, with plenty of sunshine and a high of 88°F!
Apes with allergies, please be aware that grass pollen is currently at a high level, so take precautions. And thankfully, the flu risk remains very low – excellent news for socializing!
And, as a final note, tonight we’ve got a beautiful Full Moon lighting up the sky. Perfect for a late-night banana snack and some stargazing!
That’s all for now from Ape News. Stay cool, apes!
