It's Cold Now But Maybe Warmer Later?

A Chill in the Air, But Hope on the Horizon

Good morning, Grand Rapids! It’s… well, it’s chilly. Really chilly. I stepped outside this morning and honestly, I immediately regretted my life choices. The temperature is currently 26 degrees, but with the wind, it feels like 17. Brrr. I think I saw a snowflake, or maybe it was just a really determined piece of dust. Either way, I’m bundled up, and I recommend you do the same.

It’s mostly cloudy right now, and the wind is coming from the Northwest at about 8 miles per hour. Not exactly a spring breeze, is it? They’re saying there’s a chance of flurries tonight, which… honestly? I just want it to be over. I’m ready for sunshine and warm weather.

But! And this is a big but, there is some good news. The forecast is looking up! Saturday will be a little better, reaching a high of 40. Still a bit brisk, but manageable. Then, things are really starting to look promising. Sunday we're expecting 57 degrees! And Monday, a whopping 65!

Now, Tuesday… well, Tuesday is a little tricky. They’re predicting 70 degrees, which sounds amazing, but there’s also a 70% chance of rain. Still, 70 degrees is 70 degrees, and I for one will take a little rain if it means finally shedding this winter coat.

So, hang in there, everyone. We’re almost through this. Just… maybe keep a jacket handy for tonight. And maybe tomorrow. Okay, and probably the next day. But after that? Spring is coming! I think. I really hope so.
