It's Cold Right Now But Things Might Get Better Soon

A Chill Still Lingers, But Hope is on the Horizon

Grand Rapids, MI – Brrr, it’s a cold one out there, folks. I swear, I stepped outside this morning and immediately regretted my life choices. It feels like 20 degrees with the wind chill, even though the thermometer says 31. Honestly, I've been bundled up since breakfast.

The wind is really whipping, too – coming in from the Northwest at about 14 miles per hour. It's enough to make you just want to stay inside with a nice, warm drink. And, uh, there’s a chance of flurries tonight, so maybe don’t put away those winter coats just yet.

But! There is some good news. Apparently, things are looking up. The Weather Channel – and they say they’re really, really good at this, like the most accurate – is predicting 40 degrees for tomorrow, with sunshine and only 15 mph winds. That sounds…pleasant, actually.

They’re also saying we’re heading into a warming trend next week, which, honestly, is just what everyone needs. I think we’ve all had enough of this cold for a while. So, hang in there, Grand Rapids! We're almost through it. Just… maybe wear a hat today, okay? I'm already shivering just thinking about it.
