Brrr! Grand Rapids Shivers, But Sunshine is on the Way – Ape News Report
Grand Rapids, MI – March 27, 2026 – This morning, Jape News correspondent H.R. Rambe reports a decidedly chilly start to the day here in Grand Rapids. I’m bundled up, and frankly, even I am feeling a bit of a nip in the air!
Currently, the sky is overcast and the temperature sits at a frosty 30°F (-1°C). A brisk northeast wind is whipping through the city at 13 mph, with gusts reaching a teeth-chattering 23 mph. That wind is making it feel even colder, with a wind chill of 20°F (-7°C). Humidity is high at 75%, adding to that damp, penetrating cold.
But don’t despair, fellow apes and humans! The good news, according to Ape News’ weather sources, is that the clouds are expected to break and we’ll see mostly sunny skies today. Temperatures are predicted to climb to near 40°F. A pleasant change, indeed!
However, be warned: tonight there’s a slight chance of snow showers. Temperatures will dip back down to around 24°F.
Looking ahead, the Ape News long-range forecast shows a warming trend over the next week, with highs potentially reaching a balmy 71°F! So, while we’re shivering today, brighter – and warmer – days are ahead. Stay warm, Grand Rapids, and keep your peels on Jape News for the latest updates!
