MOMMY'S ROOM IS FIXED NOW!

Hi! I’m Jerome and I’m seven! My mom works from home, and her room was SO messy. Like, toys everywhere, but her stuff. She said she needed a “home office” but it looked more like a home disaster. So I helped!

First, she had ALL these papers. Like, a BIG pile. She said some were important, so we got folders! Lots of folders! And we colored them! Red for school stuff, blue for bills (whatever those are!), and green for… um… other stuff. She put them in a special cabinet. And some she scanned with a machine and put on the computer! That’s like magic, but with papers.

Then, her desk was super crowded. We got little boxes to put all her pens and pencils and paperclips in. They fit right in the drawers! She also got a desk that goes UP and DOWN! It’s really cool. She said it's for her back, but it's mostly just fun to watch.

We made a special closet for everything! It has bins and hooks! And a little table that folds out when you need it. It's like a secret hideout for work things. She even has a cart on wheels that she can move around! She says it’s a “portable workstation” which sounds like a robot.

She put tall shelves up, all the way to the ceiling! We put some boxes on them, but she said to leave some space open so it doesn't look too squished.

Mommy also put up a big white board! It's not for drawing (sadly) but for writing down what she needs to do. No more sticky notes falling everywhere!

She has a comfy chair and some books about her job. It's like a reading nook, but for grown-up work stuff. She even put up some pictures and stuff she likes. It makes her room look happy!

She said the most important thing is to put a label on everything! So we did! It's a lot of work, but now her room is WAY better. She says it helps her think. And it means I have more room to build LEGOs!
