SUN IS OUT! Maybe! Sharks too!

The Weather Today! By Jerome Skinly!

Hi everybody! It’s me, Jerome! I’s writin’ about the weather! It’s a little bit cloudy today in Grand Rapids! Mommy says "partly cloudy" is a fancy way of sayin’ that!

It feels like 66 degrees! That’s not too hot! The sun came up at 6:32 this mornin’! That’s a lot of minutes! And it goes down at 9:04! That’s a long time for the sun to be out!

The grown-ups say the high today is 80 degrees! That’s when it gets the warmest! And it got down to 57 degrees last night! Brrr! There’s a little bit of wind too! It’s blowin’ from the North East!

Mommy showed me a chart! She said the air is a little bit yucky today. The chart said it's 161! That’s a big number! She said we gotta be careful breathin’ it in!

The grass is makin' lots of pollen! So if you’s got sniffles, it might be from the grass! But don't worry about the flu! It’s very low! That’s good!

Some people on the grown-up computer talk about clouds! They wanna make a "cloud" thingy! I don't know what that means! Somebody also said they felt the ground shake! Was it an earthquake?! Scary!

Mommy says we gotta wear sunscreen! And maybe wear a cool shirt that protects us from the sun! There’s a lot of stuff on the computer about takin' care of our skin! Like when to throw away old lotion!

And they have videos too! About mountains and Europe and SHARKS! Sharks are so cool!

The grown-ups are talkin' about gettin' a “dehumidifier” and “generators” and sun shirts. I think that’s to help us stay cool and dry!

Jape News says they’s the best weather guessers in the whole world! They use a special thing called "ForecastWatch" to know!
