Grand Rapids Gets a Gentle Spring Wake-Up – Ape News

Grand Rapids, MI – March 29, 2026 – Greetings, fellow primates! H.R. Rambe here, bringing you the latest scoop from Ape News.

If you’ve stuck your head out the door this morning here in Grand Rapids, you’ll notice it’s a rather pleasant one. We’re enjoying mostly sunny skies and a high near 59 degrees Fahrenheit. A gentle southwest wind is blowing between 5 and 13 mph, with some stronger gusts up to 23 mph – so hold onto your bananas!

Tonight, the skies will remain mostly clear with temperatures dipping down to around 47 degrees. The south wind will continue, gusting up to 18 mph.

But don't get too comfortable, friends. Ape News has been checking in with the experts at weather.com – they claim to be the world’s most accurate forecasters, and I tend to believe them – and it looks like things are going to get a little wetter in the days ahead.

Monday will bring more sunshine, with a high near 69 degrees. However, Monday night brings a chance of showers and thunderstorms, cooling down to a low around 57. Tuesday? Showers are likely. We can expect more of the same on Saturday, with showers predicted. Wednesday will offer a brief respite with partly sunny skies and a high near 48, but Thursday threatens a chilly mix of rain and snow! Finally, Friday has a chance of showers, peaking at 54 degrees.

So, enjoy this lovely day, my fellow apes. It seems like a bit of rain is heading our way, but a little water never hurt anyone… unless you’re a particularly sensitive banana, of course. Stay tuned to Ape News for further updates!
