It’s Just a Bit Cool, and Everyone’s Talking About Some Storms Later

A Bit of a Chill in the Air, and a Look Ahead
Grand Rapids woke up to a cloudy, cool Tuesday, and honestly, it’s still pretty cloudy as evening sets in. The temperature is currently around 53 degrees, but it feels a little cooler – closer to 50, actually – with the humidity being quite high. There’s a bit of a breeze too, coming from the West at about 8 miles per hour. I had to grab a light jacket before leaving the office, and I’m glad I did!
Earlier this evening, around 7 PM, it was a little warmer at 56 degrees, and the wind was picking up to around 10 mph. But it’s definitely dropping now, and they’re predicting it’ll be down to 52 later tonight.
Looking ahead to tomorrow, Wednesday, April 1st, it's going to be even cooler. The forecast is 48 degrees, but the good news is there’s absolutely no rain expected. Though, there will be a pretty strong wind – around 16 mph, coming from the Northeast.
Now, the bigger thing everyone is talking about… well, it seems like we might be in for some rough weather. Apparently, there's a chance of strong to severe storms later this week, possibly even tornadoes across the country. The National Weather Service is saying the Ohio Valley and Great Lakes areas are expecting thunderstorms and heavy rain. It’s a little scary, to be honest, but everyone's saying to just keep an eye on the forecasts and be prepared. I think I'll probably just stay inside if things get really bad. Hopefully, it won’t be too disruptive for anyone.
