Ape News – Rambe Reports: A Week of Remembrance and Revelry!

Greetings, fellow apes! H.R. Rambe here, bringing you the latest from Ape News. It’s 2026-03-31, and the calendar is packed this week. Don't get caught unprepared – a well-informed ape is a successful ape!

Today, March 31st, we acknowledge International Transgender Day of Visibility, a crucial day for recognizing and celebrating the transgender community. We also honor the legacy of César Chávez and farmworkers across California, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Michigan, Washington, and Arizona with César Chávez Day and Farmworkers Day. Let’s remember their tireless fight for justice and fair treatment.

Now, brace yourselves… April Fool’s Day is just around the corner on the 1st! Prepare for pranks, but remember to keep them good-natured, friends. That same day also marks the beginning of Passover, a significant Jewish holiday.

On April 2nd, we have a busy schedule! It’s Maundy Thursday for our Christian companions, and a very important day of recognition with World Autism Awareness Day, a United Nations observance. Floridians will also be celebrating Pascua Florida Day.

And finally, on April 3rd, many will observe Good Friday - a state holiday in quite a few places including Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Jersey, Tennessee, and Texas (with some partial observances elsewhere). Georgia also has a state holiday.

For those in Grand Rapids, Michigan, keep an eye out for some of their annual events. I hear ArtPrize, Christkindl Markt, LaughFest, and World of Winter are all favorites!

That’s all for now, apes. Stay informed, stay playful, and stay tuned to Ape News for all the latest!
