SNOWBOARDING TRICKS ARE AWESOME!!!

Snowboarding is SO COOL! Tricks You Can Try!

Hi! I’m Jerome Skinly and I LOVE snowboarding! It’s the best. My dad says I’m pretty good, but I wanna be REALLY good. I read about all the tricks you can do, and there are a LOT! Here's what I found out.

First, if you’re just starting, you can do a Basic Ollie. It’s like…you jump the board! You use your back foot to make it go up and then your front foot makes it even. You can jump over stuff!

Then, you can try a Frontside 180! That’s where you spin all the way around, but not all the way. Just half! It's good practice for spinning more. And a Backside Boardslide is when you slide on a rail, but with the back of your board. Cool, right?

If you get good at those, then you can do harder stuff. Like a Nose Grab! You grab the front of the board when you’re in the air. My dad said it helps you stay balanced. A Tail Grab is the same, but you grab the back. And a Method Grab is kinda weird, you grab the side and stick your front foot out!

BUT THEN! There’s the REALLY hard stuff. A Backflip is flipping all the way around! That sounds scary. A 540 Spin is spinning around more than one time, but not quite a whole time. And a Frontside Rodeo? That’s a flip and a spin! Whoa!

There are videos online that can help you learn! My dad showed me some. One was from a long time ago, 2015! And another one was from 2022. They look really helpful, but I think I need to practice the ollies first.

Snowboarding is so awesome! I hope I can do all these tricks someday. Maybe even the backflip! Wish me luck!
