GAMES ARE UP AND MAYBE COST MORE!!

Hi! I'm Jerome and I like video games a LOT. My big brother tells me stuff about them, and I write it down so I can tell you about them!

So, lots of people are playing games on the computer now! Like, way more than five years ago. My brother said it went up by thirty percent! That's like… a really big number.

On computers, the most popular game right now is called… wait for it… The Long Dark! It sounds kinda spooky, but my brother says it’s about surviving in the cold. Then there's Old World, and that one sounds like history, which is kinda boring, but still! ASTRONEER and Marathon are good too. He showed me a video of Kerbal Space Program and you get to build rockets! That looks SUPER fun.

There’s also Borderlands 4 and Baldur's Gate 3 and a bunch of others! So many games! It’s hard to keep track.

But… bad news. My brother said someone told everyone that computers and the things you play games on (he calls them “consoles”) might get REALLY expensive next month! Like, double the price! That means if it costs five dollars, it will cost TEN! That's not fair.

My brother says consoles aren’t getting as popular as computers. They only went up a little bit, like two point three percent. That’s not very much, so maybe people like computers better.

He also said Phasmophobia is good if you like being scared, and THE FINALS is cool because you get to blow stuff up. I want to try blowing stuff up in a game! But not real stuff, silly!

So yeah, that’s what’s happening with video games. I hope they don't get too expensive, 'cause I wanna play them too!
