A Bit of a Chill in the Air, But We'll Get Through It

By Leo Parks, Jape News

Grand Rapids saw a mostly sunny day today, though a bit on the chilly side. It was around 42 degrees Fahrenheit for most of the afternoon, which… well, it’s April in Michigan, you know? You kinda expect that. There was a pretty good breeze too, the National Weather Service clocked it at 14 miles per hour, with some gusts up to 28. Definitely held onto my hat a few times!

Everyone I talked to seemed to be taking it in stride. Old Man Hemlock down at the bakery said it reminded him of springs past, and Mrs. Davison was just happy it wasn’t snowing. You really can’t offend Mrs. Davison when it comes to snow.

Now, things are expected to change a little tonight. There's a 40% chance of showers, mainly after midnight. Hopefully, it won’t be too bad. The forecast says the low will be around 34 degrees. And tomorrow? Well, there’s a chance of rain or snow. Apparently. They’re saying a high of 45.

Honestly, it sounds…complicated. But, you know, we’ve seen it all before. I think if we just bundle up a bit and maybe bring an umbrella, we’ll be alright. It's just the weather! Let's all try to be understanding, okay? And maybe be nice to the meteorologists, they’re doing their best.
