WORLD IS CRAZY! LIONS TOO!

Stuff is Happening ALL OVER! By Jerome Skinly

Hi! I’m Jerome and I’m seven! My teacher said to write about what's happening in the world. It's…a LOT.

First, there's a big fight in Ukraine. America is trying to talk to Russia to make it stop, but it’s hard. Some soldiers in Ukraine don’t like a plan someone named Trump has, they think it's like giving up! That sounds sad.

And then there's fighting in the Middle East! In a place called Gaza, lots and lots of people are getting hurt, and a ceasefire is trying to help, but it's hard to keep it going. Soldiers from Israel went into another country called Syria and…well, it wasn’t nice.

Even the Pope went to Lebanon! He told people to stop being mad and fighting. That's good advice! Lots of kids cheered for him!

It's not just fighting everywhere. In Haiti, bad guys are attacking and people have to run away from their homes! The police need help!

And then…there was BIG flooding in Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Thailand! Over ONE THOUSAND people are missing or…gone. That’s SO many!

Some people are being naughty too. A lady who used to be the boss in Bangladesh and her niece got in trouble for being bad with money. And in the Philippines, people are mad because someone stole money!

But there's good stuff too! A movie called "Zootopia 2" is REALLY popular in China! It made LOTS of money!

Oh! And this is kinda scary. A man in Brazil climbed into a zoo and a lion…hurt him really bad. You’re not supposed to do that! Lions are WILD!

And…um…a president who used to be the boss in Honduras got out of trouble because Mr. Trump said so. That sounds…weird?

My head hurts. There’s so much happening! I think I need a snack. And maybe to play with my dinosaurs. Dinosaurs don’t fight (usually).
