A Pleasant Day in Grand Rapids

Grand Rapids residents are enjoying a beautifully clear day! As of this afternoon, the temperature is a comfortable 63 degrees, though it’s expected to climb to a high of 87 later on. A gentle southwest breeze is blowing at just 1 mph, making for truly pleasant conditions.

The sky is mostly clear, with only about 39% cloud cover, and visibility is excellent at 10 miles. It really is a lovely day to be outside!

Looking ahead, the next few hours promise even warmer temperatures, with the mercury expected to reach 69 by 10 AM, 75 by 11 AM, and a balmy 80 by noon.

While the weekend looks mostly warm, there is a chance of scattered thunderstorms on both Saturday and Sunday, so it might be a good idea to keep an umbrella handy.

A quick note for those with allergies: the risk is currently high for the next three days, even though no pollen has been detected right now. And, just a reminder, the air quality is moderate – acceptable for most, but those particularly sensitive might want to take it easy.

All in all, it’s a pretty good day to be in Grand Rapids. Enjoy the sunshine!
