Looks Like Rain, So Maybe Stay Inside?

A Bit Chilly to Start, But Things Are Looking… Wet?

Good morning, Grand Rapids! It’s, uh, definitely April. And by that, I mean the weather is doing that April thing where it can’t quite decide what it wants to be.

Right now, it’s 41 degrees out there, and pretty cloudy. I stepped outside to get a feel for it and, wow, that wind chill of 35 definitely gets you! A little brisk, to say the least. I probably should have grabbed a heavier jacket. I always think it’s warmer than it is.

The good news is today should be… quiet. They’re saying a high of 48, still cloudy, but at least not more cold. I think we can all agree that’s a win.

But, uh, things might get interesting tonight. And by interesting, I mean potentially rainy. There’s a 40% chance of showers after 3 AM. It's not a huge chance, but you know… better to be prepared.

And then tomorrow… well, buckle up, folks. Apparently, we’re looking at showers all day, and even a thunderstorm is possible. A hundred percent chance of precipitation, they say. Honestly, that sounds… a lot. The National Weather Service is even mentioning the possibility of some pretty serious storms across the whole Great Lakes area.

So, yeah. Maybe keep an umbrella handy. And maybe don’t make any big outdoor plans for Thursday. Just a suggestion! I, for one, plan on staying inside with a nice cup of tea. It's probably for the best, honestly.
