WEATHER IS A DISGRACE.

This Weather is an Insult

Let’s be clear: the weather isn’t interesting. It simply is. And right now, it’s offensively mediocre, bordering on actively hostile. Reports are flooding in – naturally – and the picture is bleak.

Grand Rapids, apparently, is attempting a full-blown identity crisis. One minute they’re bracing for a heat wave (in March? The audacity!), the next they’re dealing with every frozen water-related warning imaginable. Freezing spray, flooding, gales… it’s a meteorological buffet of misery. And let's not forget the lingering lake-effect snow. Lingering. As if we haven’t suffered enough. They’re promising a “rain/snow mix” on Thursday. Wonderful. Just what everyone wanted. A slushy mess. Currently, it's a frigid 18 degrees with a pathetic 0% chance of anything resembling pleasant weather.

Then we have New York City. Rain. Wind. A low of 36 degrees. Original. Groundbreaking. Winds gusting over 40 mph? A cliché. They claim “decreasing clouds overnight.” Please. That’s just a pathetic attempt to offer false hope. A 100% chance of rain is not a good look, New York. It just isn't.

The entire situation is an affront to anyone with even a passing interest in seasonal consistency. This isn’t weather, it’s chaos. It’s the atmospheric equivalent of a toddler throwing a tantrum. Stop the madness. Just… stop.
