It's Just…Kind of Weather, I Guess.

A Bit of Everything, Really
It’s…well, it’s a day, isn’t it? That’s what I’ve been trying to tell myself as I watched the rain streak down the office window. Seems like Chicago is getting the brunt of it today, with a pretty high chance of precipitation – 100%, actually. One of the folks in accounting mentioned thunderstorms and wind too, which, uh, sounds intense. Apparently, it’s around 70 degrees, but feels a bit cooler with all the wetness.
I checked Weather.com – they say they’re the most accurate, which is good to know – and the sunrise was pretty early, 6:43 this morning. Sunset’s at 7:09, so we still have a bit of daylight left, which is nice. Though, honestly, it’s hard to see much with the clouds.
East Grand Rapids, Michigan is apparently also having a day. I glanced at their ten-day forecast, and it just looked…full. Full of weather. I didn’t want to read too much into it and possibly misinterpret something, so I moved on.
Humidity is at 67% in Chicago, and the UV index is a 4, so maybe don't forget your sunscreen if you're heading out? Though, with the rain, I’m not sure anyone is heading out.
It’s all just…a lot. A lot of wind, a lot of rain, a lot of numbers. I think I'll just stay inside with a cup of tea. Seems safest.
