It's Just…A Day, You Know?

A Bit Gray, But Not Terrible, Honestly
Grand Rapids, MI – Well, it's… a day. That’s what I’ve gathered, at least. It’s mostly cloudy here in Grand Rapids, and honestly, a little bit chilly? The temperature is 58, but it feels like 55, which, you know, is… a feeling. Not a bad one, really. Just… noticeable.
I walked downtown earlier – just to get some air, you know? – and it was pretty much the same everywhere. Cloudy. Not raining, thankfully. The wind is blowing a little bit, about 14 miles per hour from the southwest, which is… windy. But not too windy.
Everyone I talked to seemed to think it’s a pretty typical late March day. Mrs. Henderson at the bakery said her arthritis is acting up with the change in weather, but she was still very cheerful. I didn’t want to disagree, so I just nodded and bought a blueberry muffin. It was good.
The weather people – from wzzm13 and The Weather Channel, who apparently know what they're doing – are saying we might get some thunderstorms on Tuesday. And it looks like things will be all over the place temperature-wise over the next ten days, from 30 to 70 degrees. That sounds… unpredictable.
I guess you just have to be prepared for anything, right? Layers seem like a good idea. And maybe an umbrella. Just in case. Honestly, it's not the worst weather we've had. It’s just… gray. But you can't really complain, can you?
