A Bit of Everything, Really

Well, folks, it’s… a day. Here in Grand Rapids, we’re looking at partly cloudy skies and a pretty comfortable temperature – right around 71 degrees, they’re saying. It’s nice, honestly. A little breeze coming from the southwest, maybe 10 to 15 miles per hour, which is good. Not too windy, you know? Just enough to, uh, keep things moving.

It's only a 15% chance of rain here in Heartside, which is good. I always feel bad for people when it rains, especially if they didn't plan for it.

But it's not all sunshine and… well, not-rain, everywhere. They’re saying up in the Upper Midwest, it's pretty rough. Heavy snow and ice, apparently. And down in the Southern Plains, severe thunderstorms. Honestly, that sounds… intense.

And if you’re heading north, be careful! There’s a chance of freezing rain this morning. Freezing rain is not fun. I slipped on some ice once, years ago, and it wasn't a good time.

They're also saying we might get some thunderstorms later tonight, but hopefully they’ll stay away. It’s just… a lot going on weather-wise, isn’t it? You really just never know what you're going to get. So, uh, stay safe out there, everyone. And maybe just… be prepared for anything?
