COLD THEN WARM THEN RAIN THEN THUNDER?!?!

Hi! I'm Jerome and I'm seven! Today the weather is REALLY weird in Grand Rapids. It's cold RIGHT NOW. Like, 31 degrees! My mom said that's almost freezing! And it feels like 21! That’s super cold. The wind is blowing from the East and it's kinda strong, like when you run really fast.

But… get this! It’s gonna get warm later! Like, up to 67 degrees! That's almost summer weather! But it’s also gonna rain ALL DAY. One hundred percent! That means a LOT of rain.

My mom said there might be freezing rain this morning. That's when the rain is cold and makes everything slippery. We have to be careful! Then, at NIGHT, there might be THUNDERSTORMS! That sounds exciting, but kinda scary too.

The weather people fixed the radar! It was broken for a long time. The radar helps them see where the storms are coming from. They said there could be bad storms, so we have to watch out.

It's like the weather can't decide if it's winter or spring! It’s super windy now, and really wet looking outside. I hope it gets warmer soon so I can play outside, but I think I need my raincoat and maybe even my winter hat, just in case!
