WIND AND RAIN AND MAYBE SPLASHES!

Rain and Wind!

Hi! I'm Jerome Skinly and I'm seven! Today the weather is kinda wild. My mom said there might be tornadoes way over in some other states, like where the cows live! That sounds scary, but she said we are safe here.

But it’s still rainy here in Grand Rapids! It's super cloudy and it’s been raining on and off all day. The wind is really blowing! It's blowing from the east and it's making the trees dance. My dad said the wind is going 15 to 25 miles per hour! That's fast! Like, almost as fast as a really fast bike!

It’s not super cold, though. It’s not snow, thank goodness! It’s just rainy and kinda chilly. The weather man on the computer said it will get to 41 degrees tonight. That's cold enough for a jacket!

They said it might rain a whole half inch! That's a LOT of rain. We might get puddles big enough to splash in, if my mom lets me. She said there's a 90% chance of rain, which means it's almost definitely going to rain.

There's also some snow way up north, but not here. I like snow better than rain, but rain is okay too, I guess. Especially if I can wear my boots!
