DAYS DAYS DAYS THIS WEEK!

Hi! I'm Jerome and I'm seven! This week is REALLY busy with…days! Like, special days! My mom told me about them and I wrote them down. It’s kinda a lot to remember!

First, yesterday was March 30th and some places had days for people who were soldiers! Wyoming had a “Welcome Home” day for them. And Doctors Day! Doctors are important, they give you stickers sometimes. Alaska had a day about a guy named Seward. And some other states had a day for people who were in the Vietnam war. That sounds like a long time ago.

Today is March 31st! It’s a day where people want everyone to SEE transgender people. That’s good! And it’s César Chávez Day in some states, like California! He helped farmworkers, who grow our food. That's important too! Arizona also has a day for farmworkers.

Tomorrow is April 1st! That means…APRIL FOOLS! You can play tricks! But not mean tricks, my mom said. Also, it’s the start of Passover. I don’t know much about that yet, but it sounds like a big deal.

Then on April 2nd, lots of things happen! Passover REALLY starts. There’s also a day to remember people with autism. And Florida has a day called Pascua Florida. Sounds kinda like pasta!

April 3rd is Good Friday and some states get a day off! Like Texas! Hooray!

Then, April 5th is EASTER! I like Easter! There are eggs and chocolate! And a day for being nice to everyone's feelings, it's called International Day of Conscience.

And finally, on April 6th, there’s a day for playing sports! And another day for Easter! And a day for…tartan? I think that's a kind of checkered pattern.

So yeah, lots and LOTS of days this week! You should remember them! Bye!
