Brrr! It's Cold and Crazy!
Hi! I'm Jerome Skinly and I'm seven! Today the weather is SO cold. My mom said it's 32 degrees! That's like, almost freezing! It feels like 22, which is REALLY cold. We live in Grand Rapids and it's all cloudy.
They said on the TV there might be icy rain this morning. I hope it doesn’t make the roads slippery so my school bus can still come! And then tonight…THUNDERSTORMS! That sounds super loud and maybe a little scary.
But it's not just cold here! My dad showed me a map and other places have REALLY crazy weather. Like, way up north, it’s snowing a LOT. And down south, it's super warm and they have big storms with wind and…tornadoes! A tornado is like a REALLY strong windy swirl, and you have to go to a safe place.
My dad also said it's warm enough SOMEWHERE that they might break records for being the hottest EVER. That’s a lot of different weather all happening at the same time!
I hope the sun comes out soon, but even if it doesn’t, I have my warm coat and my hat! You should wear yours too if it’s cold where you are!
