SKY IS DOING CRAZY THINGS!

The Sky is Mad!

Hi! I'm Jerome Skinly and I'm seven! Today the sky is being REALLY silly. First it was kinda sunny, but then it got all gray and grumpy. My mom said that means rain is coming, and she was right! It’s raining now, and sometimes it gets REALLY loud! Like, boom loud! She said that’s thunder.

They said on the TV there might be even MORE loud booms and even… tornadoes?! That sounds scary! Tornadoes are like spinning wind monsters, my big brother told me. But Mom said we’re safe inside.

It's warmish right now, like 63 degrees, but tonight it’s gonna get COLD! Like, almost freezing! That's a big change. Mom says we need to bring in the plants so they don't get frosty.

The rain is supposed to stop later, but there's still a good chance of it. Eighty percent chance! That means it's REALLY likely to rain more. And the wind is blowing kinda hard too.

I hope the sky gets happy again soon. I wanna go play outside! But Mom says we're gonna read books 'til the sky calms down. Maybe the rain will wash all the yucky stuff away.
