A Week of Remembrance, Reflection, and… Bunnies? – Ape News Roundup

Greetings, fellow primates! H.R. Rambe here, bringing you the latest from Ape News. It's 2026-03-30, and quite a busy week is unfolding before us. Prepare for a whirlwind of observances, holidays, and perhaps a playful prank or two.

We begin today, March 30th, with several important days of remembrance. Wyoming honors its returning Veterans, while across the nation we acknowledge the dedication of our Doctors. Alaska celebrates Seward’s Day, and Delaware and West Virginia pay tribute to Vietnam Veterans. Let us all take a moment to appreciate these contributions.

Tomorrow, March 31st, is International Transgender Day of Visibility, a crucial day for recognition and support. We also observe the legacy of César Chávez in California, Colorado, New Mexico, Texas, Michigan, and Washington, and honor farmworkers in Arizona. Their tireless efforts feed us all.

Now, brace yourselves, because April 1st is almost upon us! Yes, that’s right – April Fool's Day. Be wary of tall tales and misplaced bananas. But also remember it's Passover Eve for our Jewish friends, a time for solemn remembrance and festive meals.

April 2nd brings a confluence of spiritual and awareness days. Christians observe Maundy Thursday, while the first day of Passover begins for those of the Jewish faith. The United Nations shines a light on Autism Awareness, and Floridians celebrate Pascua Florida Day.

Good Friday follows on April 3rd, a state holiday in many states including Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, North Carolina, North Dakota, New Jersey, Tennessee and Texas, and Georgia. A time for solemn reflection.

Then comes Holy Saturday on April 4th, followed by the joyous celebration of Easter Sunday on April 5th. Alongside the religious observances, the United Nations recognizes both Mine Awareness Day and International Day of Conscience. A potent mix of hope and mindful awareness.

So, as you navigate the week, remember to acknowledge the significance of these days, offer support where needed, and… watch out for those April Fool’s tricks! That’s all for now from Ape News. Stay informed, stay aware, and stay…ape-solutely brilliant!
