A Week of Celebrations & Commitments – Ape News Roundup!

Greetings, fellow primates! H.R. Rambe here, bringing you the latest from Ape News. It’s a busy week, packed with days for fun, reflection, and even… pizza? Yes, you heard that right! Let’s peel back the layers and see what’s happening this week, starting today, March 31st, 2026.

We begin with International Transgender Day of Visibility, a vital day for recognizing and celebrating the transgender community. Also today, parts of California, Colorado, New Mexico and Texas honor the legacy of César Chávez, a champion of social justice.

Then, brace yourselves for April 1st – April Fool’s Day! Prepare for playful pranks and remember to take everything with a grain of salt. It’s also Take Down Tobacco National Day of Action, a serious day dedicated to promoting health and wellness. A curious pairing, wouldn’t you say?

April 2nd is a feast for the senses! We've got National Burrito Day and National Peanut Butter and Jelly Day. Truly a day to indulge! It’s also World Autism Awareness Day, promoting understanding and acceptance, and, for our friends in Florida, Pascua Florida Day.

Good Friday arrives on April 3rd, a state holiday in several locations, offering a moment for contemplation. Don’t forget, it’s also World Party Day – a perfect excuse to gather with your troop!

Saturday, April 4th, brings Holy Saturday, but also acknowledges our more discerning diners with National Picky Eaters Day. A relatable holiday, I assure you.

Finally, the week culminates in Easter Sunday on April 5th! A day for eggs, family, and springtime joy. And for those dedicated to physical prowess? National Deep Dish Pizza Day and National Recommit to Your Fitness Day. A challenging combination, to be sure!

So there you have it – a whirlwind week of observance! From serious reflection to lighthearted fun, Ape News has you covered. Stay informed, stay engaged, and enjoy the week!
