KEYS GONE WHERE DID THEY GO?!

Uh Oh. Where Did They Go?!

It is… a problem. A BIG problem. I lost my keys! Mommy says keys are super important because they open things. Like the door to our house so we don't have to sleep outside with the squirrels. And the car so we can go get ice cream!

I had them this morning. I think. I remember helping Mommy put groceries in the car, and I had my little keychain with the dinosaur on it. It’s a T-Rex! He's green and kinda bumpy. But then we went inside and…poof! No keys.

First, I looked by the door. Nope. Just a pile of shoes and Daddy’s newspaper. Then I checked under the couch cushions. Lots of crumbs and a lost LEGO, but no keys. I even looked in the toy box, just in case a sneaky dinosaur stole them! He didn't.

Mommy helped me look everywhere. We looked in the kitchen, by the TV, and even inside my backpack. Still gone! Mommy said it's like a mystery. A super frustrating mystery because now we can't go to the park.

She said sometimes people lose keys all the time. She said maybe someone had to call a… lock-smith? That sounds like a scary name! Mommy said a locksmith can make a new key. But she also said it’s better to find the old key.

Right now, we are looking AGAIN. I'm checking behind all the pillows. Maybe they fell in a secret hiding place? I hope so! Losing keys is no fun. I just want to go get ice cream! And make sure my dinosaur doesn’t get blamed. He's a good dinosaur. He wouldn't steal keys. Probably.
