Lots of People Seemed To Be Enjoying These Games Last Month

What Everyone Was Playing Last Month

Hi, it's Leo Parks here with Jape News, and boy, has it been a busy month for gaming! Trying to keep up with everything is… well, it’s a lot. But I’ve done my best to gather up what seemed to be really popular, you know? From what I’ve seen, and heard from friends – and, uh, online – here’s a rundown of what folks were sinking their time into last month.

Now, getting exact numbers is tricky. TrendingNow.Games has some great info on Steam, and right now, titles like Gray Zone Warfare, RACCOIN: Coin Pusher Roguelike, and Old World are really taking off. Apparently, RACCOIN jumped a whopping 23 ranks today! It's a coin pusher… roguelike? Sounds… intense. Old World is super cheap right now, too, which is always a plus.

But, thinking back to last month, a couple of titles kept popping up everywhere. Borderlands 4 was huge. I saw a lot of streams, and my cousin, Mark, wouldn’t stop talking about it. It's always good to see a franchise keep going strong. It was consistently in the top 10 on Steam, and it seems like people are enjoying it despite the… mixed reviews. 59% isn't bad, right? I'm just saying, it's still being played!

Survival games were definitely in, too. The Long Dark is still a favorite, and it’s been fluctuating in the charts for a while now. I heard it got a big update last month, which probably helped. Plus, it's only a few bucks right now – can’t beat that! ASTRONEER and ARC Raiders were also popular, building and exploring and, you know, generally surviving.

It wasn't all new releases, though. Classic Red Dead Redemption 2 made a strong showing, too. It’s amazing to see a game like that still being played years after it came out, especially at that price!

Now, shifting gears to consoles, it’s harder to say exactly what was biggest. I heard a lot about Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores on PlayStation. People seemed to really like the graphics, and the story. And on Xbox, Starfield is still being talked about, even though it’s been out for a while. It seems like people are really getting into the modding scene, which is cool.

The Nintendo Switch? Well, Super Mario Bros. Wonder is still a big hit with pretty much everyone. I haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but I’ve heard nothing but good things. Honestly, a new Mario game is always a safe bet.

Hardware-wise, the Steam Deck continues to be super popular. It’s just so convenient, being able to play PC games on the go. I’m still saving up for one, it’s a little pricey for me at the moment. There's also been some buzz about the new VR headsets, but those are still pretty niche, I think.

So, yeah, that's what I’ve gathered. It's been a good month for gamers, with a lot of different options to choose from. Hopefully, there will be even more great games coming out soon!
