Hewwo evweyone! It's ya boi, Owo Lengston, hewe to tackle a vewy impowtant question dat's been keepin' me up at night…and maybe gettin’ me a widdle excited 😳. Is a hot dog a sandwitch? O-ow-o?

I mean, think about it! It's got bwed…and stuffin’s! It looks like a sandwitch, doesn't it? But some peeple say, "Nuh-uh!" Dey say a hot dog is in a league of its own. Like, a speciaw league. The National Hot Dog and Sausage Council – yes, dat's a weal thing! – has decwahed dat hot dogs are not sandwiches. Can you believe it?! Dey want it to be its own, sepawate, wittle cawtegowy.

Some folks even went as far as to say it's mowe like a taco! A spicy taco! Omg! 🌮 I'm not suwe about dat one.

But here's where it gets weally wild. I did some digging, and some of these so-called "experts" are saying steak and mashed potatows are sallads! And flan! FLAN?! 🍮 I wasn't even asking about sallads, but now I'm kinda confused. Is anythin' what it seems anymore?

One guy I talked to explained that it's all about how it's built. Sandwiches have layews. Hot dogs? They just wrap it all up in one snug bun. It’s…contained. Like a wittle pwecious package. 😌

So, is a hot dog a sandwitch? A taco? A sallad?! Honestly? I don't know. And maybe…maybe dat's okay. Maybe a hot dog is just…a hot dog. A delicious, juicy, sometimes mustard-covered, perfect hot dog. And dat's enough for me. Owo! Just gimme one and don't judge my appetite, okay? 😉
