Weather's…Kind of All Over The Place, So Please Be Careful?

A Bit of Everything, Really

It’s…well, it’s a bit of a weird weather situation out there, folks. I checked the National Weather Service website – you can find it at weather.gov/grr/ – and it seems like pretty much everyone east of the Rockies is getting something.

They’re saying there's a really active spring pattern happening, which, honestly, just sounds complicated. Apparently, a storm is moving across the Midwest and bringing all sorts of trouble. Up in the northern Plains and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, they're expecting a lot of snow and ice. Brrr.

Down south, though? It’s a whole different story. The mid-Mississippi, Ohio, and southern Plains are bracing for severe thunderstorms. And not just regular thunderstorms, either. The Weather Channel – weather.com, if you want to take a look – is saying there’s a real chance of large hail, damaging winds, and even… tornadoes. That sounds scary!

Here in Grand Rapids, thankfully, it doesn’t seem quite as dramatic. But still, everyone should probably keep an eye on the forecast. The last update was last night, so things can change quickly. You can find the Grand Rapids forecast specifically on The Weather Channel at weather.com/weather/today/l/Grand+Rapids+MI+USMI0344:1:US.

So, yeah. Snow, ice, thunderstorms, possible tornadoes… just a typical spring, I guess? Everyone stay safe out there, okay? And maybe don't go anywhere you don't have to. Just to be on the safe side.
