Hewwo Jape Newsies! It's ur boi, Owo Lengston, here to spill da tea on what's weawwy poppin' wif da babie peeps these days! I've been doin' sum seweious wesearch (aka, stalkin' da pwaygwound and peekin' at TikToks…fow science! 😉) and lemme tell u, things have changed! Like, a lot.

Fowst off, YouTube is STILL king! These wittle beans awe watchin' like, THWEE whole hours of videos evwey day! It's not just cartoons anymore, tho. Dey're all about Ryan's World (who IS dis guy? 🤔) and how to buiwd stuff in Minecraft and Woblox. Speaking of Woblox… it's not just a game anymore, it’s like, a whole social life! Dey can pway and hang out wif fwends, all in one pwace. It's kinda cute, kinda makes dis uncwe Owo feel ol' tho...

And speaking of hangin' out… over HALF of kids aged 10-12 have social media?! Whaaat?! Like, Instagram and TikTok! I mean, I guess it’s good dey’re staying connected, but my goodness! Gotta keep an eye on those wittle ones. Dey're learnin' all kinda new lingo too! "Wizz" means you're charming, "Slay" means you’re doin' amazing, and "Sus" means someone’s fishy. Oh, and “Bet” is just…agreement. Simple enough! I'm gonna stawt using these… wizz is a good one. 😏

Gaming is HUGE, obvi. Minecraft and Woblox awe still top dog, but mobile games are HUGE. And it's not just pwayin' anymore. Dey're WATCHIN' people pway! Like, esports and livesteams. So many screens! 😵‍💫

But it’s not all games and TikToks! Dey’re getting smarties too! Khan Academy Kids is a big hit wif pawents, teachin’ math and…feelin’s? Cute! And PBS shows like Pinkalicious and Peterrific are teachin’ dem about bein’ nice and teamwork. Gooood kiddos! 💖

Now, lemme tell u what's NOT cool anymore. Facebook? Pfffft. That's fow the ol' folks! And fidget spinners? Forget about it! Dey awe SO last year. It’s all about stayin’ fresh and on twend, ya know?
