A Chill in the Air, From the Windy City to the Rapids

By H.R. Rambe, Ape News Weather Correspondent

Good morning, fellow apes! H.R. Rambe here, bringing you the latest atmospheric conditions, direct from Ape News’ weather station – which is, admittedly, just me looking out the window and consulting those human weather-boxes.

It’s a bit of a blustery one out there today. Our friends in Chicago are really feeling it! Reports indicate overcast skies and winds howling from the northeast at 25 to 35 miles per hour. A chilly 29 degrees Fahrenheit, with high humidity… brrr! Reminds me of a particularly damp banana peel. Definitely a day to stay huddled inside with a good book, or perhaps several bunches of fruit.

Here in Grand Rapids, Michigan, we’re getting a bit of sunshine, thankfully. The temperature is climbing towards a high of around 42 degrees Fahrenheit, though a northwest wind, gusting up to 21 mph, is keeping things brisk. A decent day for a short stroll, maybe, but I’d recommend a sturdy coat – or a thick layer of fur, if you’re lucky enough to have it.

Tonight, Grand Rapids will see mostly cloudy skies and a low around 35 degrees. Chicago will likely remain cold and windy.

Stay warm, stay dry, and keep checking Ape News for all your weather updates! This has been H.R. Rambe, reminding you to always be prepared for whatever Mother Nature throws your way.
