COLD WET WIND FAST!

Hi! I’m Jerome and I’m seven! Today the weather is REALLY cold. My mom said it’s 33 degrees! That sounds like a REALLY big number, but it feels like 23! That means it’s even colder to your skin!

It’s also super wet. It’s raining and there might be storms! My teacher, Mrs. Davis, said we have to be careful because the storms could be STRONG. We have to stay inside!

The wind is blowing from the east and it’s going REALLY fast. Like, 16 miles per hour fast! That's faster than my bike! It makes the trees wiggle a lot.

Tomorrow it might get warmer, like 58 degrees! That sounds way better. But Saturday…Saturday might be rainy AGAIN! Eighty percent chance of rain! That’s almost ALL rain!

Sunday might be cold again, but no rain! That’s good because I want to play outside.

My mom told me to look out the window, and she said there are warnings about the weather. Like, be careful on the lake and stuff. So grown-ups, be careful! And kids, listen to your moms and dads! It's a wild day outside!
