Brrr! Midwest Gets a Chill, But Ape News Says Warmth is Coming!

Grand Rapids, MI – March 28, 2026 – H.R. Rambe here, bringing you the latest from Ape News! Listen up, primates, because the weather is a tale of two temperatures right now.

This morning, Grand Rapids is feeling a definite nip in the air. The thermometer reads a frosty 25 degrees Fahrenheit, but the wind chill makes it feel closer to 16! We’ve got clear skies, thankfully, and a light breeze coming from the Northwest at 8 miles per hour. Humidity is sitting at 65%, so it’s a dry cold, but a cold nonetheless. No precipitation to report today, but 13OnYourSide says keep an eye out for flurries tonight.

Now, don’t go building that igloo just yet! Ape News, utilizing data from the world’s most accurate forecaster – The Weather Channel, based on ForecastWatch stats from 2021 to 2024 – predicts a significant warm-up is on the way.

Saturday will see a slight increase to 40 degrees. But hold onto your bananas, because Sunday we’re jumping up to a much more respectable 57 degrees! Monday looks even better, with highs nearing 68. There's a small chance of rain then, around 20%. Tuesday might be a bit soggy with an 80% chance of showers, but temperatures will still be around 70!

Wednesday will bring a drop back down to 48, but the good news is, the worst of the chill seems to be behind us.

So, bundle up today, my fellow apes, but start planning those outdoor activities for next week! This is H.R. Rambe, reminding you to stay informed with Ape News – where we swing for accuracy!
