Apes Observe Wild Weather – Ape News, March 28, 2026
Greetings, fellow primates! H.R. Rambe here, bringing you the latest weather report from Ape News. It's a truly peculiar day across the nation, and even this old ape is raising an eyebrow at what the atmospheric currents are doing.
Here in Grand Rapids, Michigan, we’re experiencing conditions ripe for…well, let’s just say attention. The National Weather Service is reporting critical fire weather out on the Plains, a worrying sign indeed. And while we’re not seeing flames here, the combination of wind and humidity is certainly something to monitor. Trending videos online – humans are obsessed with documenting everything! – show some truly dramatic scenes from elsewhere. San Francisco appearing to sink? Florida getting hammered with hailstones? Preposterous! Though, admittedly, the humans do seem quite distressed.
Moving eastward, things are even wetter. Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is bracing for a soaking. A full 100% chance of rain, they say! Showers and thunderstorms are predicted, with potentially heavy rainfall and winds whistling in from the West at 10 to 20 mph. A low of 56°F – practically chilly! – and a humidity level of 67%. Honestly, a little rain never bothered me, but these humans seem to require constant sunshine.
And while we in Grand Rapids are spared the deluge, a Small Craft Advisory is in effect, which means even our local waters are behaving strangely.
It's a wild world out there, folks. Stay dry, stay safe, and keep your eyes on Ape News for further updates. This is H.R. Rambe, reminding you to always check the weather before flinging your…well, never mind.
