Oh, the Humidity! (And Some Rain, I Guess) - By Bronbus Quitley

Good evening, folks! Bronbus Quitley here, reporting live… well, not live live, I recorded this a few hours ago because frankly, my hair frizzes something awful in this weather. And let me tell you, this weather! It’s… it’s a doozy.

They're calling for rain, you know. Just rain. Like that's all it is! Rain! Back in ‘87, we had a rain like this. Except it wasn’t water, it was… marmalade! Yes, sir! Orange marmalade, falling from the sky! Sticky situation, let me tell you. Had to reschedule the annual pigeon pageant. Pigeons hate marmalade. Absolutely loathe it.

Anyway, back to today. It’s cloudy, see? Dreadfully cloudy. Like someone took a giant gray sponge and wrung it out over Grand Rapids. And it was raining this morning. A little drizzle, mostly. Enough to make the squirrels look judgmental. Those squirrels are always judging, I swear. They’ve got a whole committee.

Now, the real kicker? They're saying thunderstorms. Scattered thunderstorms! That means you might get hit, you might not! It's a gamble, really. A meteorological lottery! I once won a free funnel cake from a thunderstorm. True story. It materialized right in my hand, fully frosted. Delicious.

And the wind! Oh, the wind. Coming from the east-southeast, they say. At 10 to 20 miles per hour. That’s… well, that’s pretty windy. Did you know wind is just the Earth breathing? It’s true! I read it in a pamphlet once. A very official-looking pamphlet.

They're saying a 93% chance of precipitation. 93%! That's practically guaranteed dampness. You know what else is 93%? The number of times my Aunt Mildred has told me about her prize-winning zucchini. It's… substantial.

So, yeah. Rain, wind, potential lightning. Stay safe out there, folks! And maybe keep an umbrella handy. Or a funnel cake net, just in case. Bronbus Quitley, signing off! And remember: always trust a man with perpetually frizzy hair when it comes to the weather. I’m practically a barometer myself!
