Hi! I'm Jerome and I write for Jape News! My teacher says it's good to know what's happening in the world, but sometimes it's SCARY! But guess what? I found a LOT of good stuff!

Like, giraffes are BACK in Angola! They went away for a long time, but now they're living there again! That's like when my goldfish, Finny, disappeared under the castle, and then I FOUND him! Except with giraffes.

And get this – green sea turtles aren’t ENDANGERED anymore! That means there's MORE of them! My mom says they're really cool and swim in the ocean.

Poland said NO MORE fur farms! That means the animals get to live! That's awesome. And Thailand has DOUBLE the tigers now! Double! That's like if I had double the LEGOs!

Also, people are making blood cancer better with new stuff they figured out in Vienna! That's like a SUPER power for doctors!

And listen to this - they made paper out of leaves! Dead leaves! So it doesn't make as much trash. That’s smart. And they're trying to fly airplanes with electricity now! That’s like my toy car, but HUGE!

They even figured out how to make corals grow back, even if they get sick! They used special stuff to help them. That's like giving Finny extra fish food when he's not feeling good.

People are even helping orcas! They use special cables so the boats don't bump into them. That’s like a super-safe road for the whales!

And even better, they can predict the future! Well, maybe not exactly the future, but computers can guess what might happen 20 years from now! That's REALLY good for planning!

My teacher says it's important to remember the bad stuff too, but it makes me feel happy to know so many good things are happening in the world! Even little things, like writing with your hand is good for your brain! So I'm gonna keep writing and telling you all the good news I can find!
